I had some pretty serious crowding that made cleaning difficult and resulted in periodontal disease. After addressing that, I was referred to Dr... Tuncay at Rittenhouse Orthodontics. He and his team did a thorough job educating me on different options for braces to correct my bite and deal with the crowding. We ultimately opted with a newer model of braces that bonded to the inside of my teeth and required no adjustment until they were removed. My braces are off now and the whole process was as pleasant one could hope and while I still have to get invisiline braces to make the final adjustments, most of the work is done and the crowding is resolved. The team were very professional and friendly, and Dr Tuncay was very accessible for questions and issues that might arise.read more

From my initial appointment to the day I finished my treatment, Dr. Tuncay took the time to understand my concerns and carefully craft a treatment plan to make my smile beautiful again! He made sure I was happy with my teeth and if there was even a small imperfection, he made the necessary tweaks to make sure my teeth and smile turned out perfect! I had orthodontics here to prepare for a jaw surgery revision. Going through the process a second time I needed the best team possible and did not... want to take any shortcuts. After my first experience I wanted to be more involved in the whole process, taking a trust but verify approach with every doctor I spoke with.Which brings up my first point, Dr. Tuncay was very patient and answered all my questions in more detail than any other orthodontist I've met. The detailed answers matched the detailed digital planning, you can tell his practice is cutting edge with the latest technology e.g. 3d printed wires. As a layperson, you don't really need to know anything about orthodontics to tell when someone cares about his craft and uses the best tools possible.
